Testing Coordinator
As an integral part of the Research, Evaluation, Assessment & accountability team, the Testing Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and administration of District, State and National assessments. Numerous programs and individuals rely on this multifaceted position. From providing timely and accurate assessment data to meeting critical and frequent deadlines, this position demands integrity, accuracy, organization and problem solving skills thus qualifying it as a "High Stakes Position".
Technical support is essential to the success of the testing program. It requires balancing the historically cumbersome paper-based testing process with and emerging computer based testing system; providing continued support to both the retired and/or legacy tests while providing training and guidance on multiple testing platforms. A demonstrated knowledge of computers, programs, technical aptitude, customer service, problem solving and training are mandatory for success.

With the advent of on-line testing growing on a larger scale than ever before, a new mindset and skill set is required - different thinking, logistical planning and technical aptitude is mandatory. The primary assessment system is moving into an on-line administration with a goal of being 100% on-line . |
